Linksys 54G on WinXP

Running a Linksys 54g on a WinXP network. Everything is running fine but one issue is bugging me. It appears that XP loaded its own drivers so now, my Linksys configuration utility is reporting my card as inactive. Yet, I'm connected with no issues. Can I uninstall the Linksys utility?

I don't think I would remove the Linksys utility but rather shut it off so it's not reporting, if that is an option.

Note to self...

Do NOT remove the Linksys utility. I eventually tried to unstall it. Apparently WinXP is dependent on its existance. I had to start from scratch and reinstall the thing.
