Guys n gals

I have a question for you. I have NAV and firewall on my PC as well as adaware and spybot and MRU Blaster. I have 3 accounts set up on my PC mine which has admin rights and two others for family members with restricted rights (all on WinXP home by the way). When I scan I believe it checks all 3 accounts and I believe it protects all 3 accounts in the background as well.

Is this the case and do my spyware programs work the same way ?

yes, the programs are for the client computer, not just for a user profile.

While the prgrams may be for the entire computer...it is best to scan (AV/AT/ASw) all user accounts.

The scanners can scan the shared folders, but not the individual ones. Specifically the registry and the current user key are off limits when yyou are not logged in as that user.
