one notebook types on another?

Im having a problem in our office where one of our laptops types on another one in the office, does anyone have a clue as to why this would happen?

It would be helpful to us to know a couple things. What OS on both comps? What program is the typing happening in? Has this happened right from the beginning or just started out of the blue? How far apart are the machines?
