For a month now i have been looking into wireless solutions more than doing my college work and i feel like every time i get close to a solution another problem arrives. i feel now through all the hardships that wireless sucks unless you have the proper knowledge and parts and wired saves you a large headache. but i came across an article that allows you to share connections with a wireless equipped laptop through Ethernet too another component. ICS ( internet connection sharing) is the name of it and i was able to get it too work surprisingly once by bridging the connection and another time just by sharing the connection threw advanced options now it will not work and i have tried troubleshooting it for 2 days now and i am clueless. i am using a regular cat5 wire to connect my ps3 to my laptop and my laptop is connected fine but the ps3 is not receiving connection but is obtaining i.p address when manually entered. also connection is showing limited connectivity. i am unsure what to do now and hope this will be the last thread i will have to post about connection problems. if needed will post ip config results. thanks in advance.
