Probably, but it is a really bad idea... If it is your primary antivirus, it is not good to run without it unless you are totally disconnected from the Internet... If it is not your primary antivirus, you can turn it off completely...

Either way, open the controls for it and look for Options or Preferences and it will probably offer the options you want...

If you do that and get infected, you might want to go elsewhere for help because chances are that helpers here will not react well to knowing you opened yourself up for it...

And by the way... Not responding to the people who offer you help is another way to burn your bridges so that people just stop responding...
