Is there an ASUS ROG Aly X pre order bonus?
From what we can gather, there doesn’t look to be a clear pre order bonus for the ROG Ally X. Despite that, we can see that pre-ordering the device does come with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (3 months) for free. Whether this will still be the case once the pre order period is over remains to be seen.
How does it compare to the original ROG Ally?
ASUS has been careful not to call this the ‘ROG Ally 2’ for good reason, but there are some major improvements to the device. There are two standout benefits of going for the ROG Ally X over the original model – more RAM and better battery life. This refreshed device bumps the memory up to 24GB LPDDR5X, while the battery has been improved to 80Wh. This is compared to the 16GB LPDDR5 and 40Wh of the original.
