Next month is going to be a big one for AMD fans, as they’ll get to see the launch of AMD 9000 series processors. However, as we’re getting closer to the release of the next-gen processors, we’re seeing several discounts on some existing AMD processors. This has been happening for the past few weeks, and the latest ones to get their prices slashed are the X3D processors, which are excellent for gaming.

Big discounts on AMD X3D CPUs

Right now, five popular processors from the AMD X3D series are currently listed at a discounted price on Amazon. The biggest discount we have is on the Ryzen 9 7900X3D, which is currently available for $394.99 instead of $599. This means you can save over $200 through this offer. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D has also received a significant price drop, as you can buy it right now for only $339. It was previously listed for $449, so you’re saving around $109 on it through this deal.

What are X3D CPUs good for?

The Ryzen X3D processors are designed specifically for gamers. These processors offer better performance in gaming, and this is all thanks to the 3D V-Cache technology, which stacks an extra layer of cache on top of CPU cores.

Even AMD’s Senior Technical Marketing Manager of Consumer Processors, Donny Woligroski, recently claimed that X3D processors are currently the best CPUs for gaming in the market, and they’re even better than the upcoming Ryzen 9000 series processors. He mentioned that the 7800X3D is still the ‘king of the hill,’ and we also found it to be a great CPU in our review.

Aside from the X3D processors, three processors from the Ryzen 8000G series are currently available at a discounted price. On top of that, the Ryzen 7 7700 also recently hit its lowest price yet on Amazon. As we get near the launch of the Ryzen 9000 series, we can expect to see bigger and better discounts on existing processors.
